I wanted to share with you a new resource developed in collaboration with colleagues from Save the Children, WFP, LSHTM, UCL, Gain, and Food Prices for Nutrition.
Nutritious and healthy diets are becoming less affordable for many people around the world due to conflicts, climate shocks, food price inflation, and more. This paper summarizes the main methods and tools to calculate the cost of a nutritious and healthy diet, estimate the affordability gap, and model interventions that will help reduce this affordability gap.
