A patient having chylothorax was prescribed with skimmed milk due to inavailability of specialized formula. It was diluted at 0.4 kcal/ml and given via continuous feeding to a total feed of 600 ml over 24 hours . Just wondering how much protein would the patient receives at this regime. One sachet of the skimmed milk contains 36 kcal and 3.5g protein. The dilution done is 1 sachet to 100 cc water.
