I am a nutrition volunteer at the Lutheran World Federation, Kyangwali Subprogram, Kikuube district, Uganda implementing Integrated Mother-Child Health and Nutrition Interventions. The project entails preventative and treatment of moderate acute malnutrition among children under five and pregnant and lactating mothers. This is in addition to support of the health and nutrition related behaviour through the Social and Behavioural Change Communication approaches. This is with interventions such as the care group initiative, puppetry shows, community dialogues and outreaches.
