Strategic Leader in Global Food Systems, Climate Change, Food & Nutrition Security

Elizabeth is a strategic leader with over 20 years of experience in global food systems, climate change, food and nutrition security. She specializes in creating actionable, culturally relevant solutions to address hunger, poverty, and environmental challenges. With a proven track record at organizations like Kellogg’s, Cargill, Compassion International, and the Congressional Hunger Center, Elizabeth has led teams to drive impactful research, product innovation, and post-harvest value creation.

Her expertise extends to empowering cross-functional teams to implement scalable programs that enhance food and nutrition security, and climate adaptation. Elizabeth has worked in diverse settings, including as a consultant in Tanzania, where she tested climate change mitigation strategies in agriculture to strengthen livelihoods. She also served on the global executive leadership team at Compassion International, leading strategy and public affairs, and held senior R&D roles with Kellogg’s and Cargill.

Passionate about diversity and inclusion, Elizabeth has championed initiatives to foster inclusive environments where all can thrive. She holds a Ph.D. in Grain Science from Kansas State University and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
