Health Partners International (HPI) is looking for a part-time Principal Nutrition Adviser to provide technical assistance in nutrition sensitive programming to the DFID funded Maximising the Quality of Scaling up Nutrition Programmes Framework (MQSUN). MQSUN aims to provide DFID with technical services to improve the quality of nutrition- specific and nutrition sensitive programmes over a period of four years. HPI is part of the core management team for the MQSUN consortium, led by PATH. The Principal Nutrition Advisor will be a member of the MQSUN core team and work closely with team members, DFID UK and at country level, the Core team provide a ‘one-stop shop’ for expertise on nutritional programming, research, lessons learned, best practice and impact. Responsibilities will include: - Support to technical reviews and technical editing of TORs and deliverables - Representation and presentations at technical meetings in the UK and at country level - Support to the activity manager for each call down assignment as assigned - Providing technical input to call down assignments on behalf of HPI as approriate The position, based in the UK, will be contracted on a draw down basis for an initial period of up to 40 days with possibility for extension. Contract to start as soon as possible. Some travel may be required.
