Hi everyone.
Can any one please tell me whether 4% used as the emergency threshold in nutrition surveys is a WHO threshold and if yes, which book or document is it written. If not, how did it come about to be used in determining the threshold for nutrition surveys? Is it maybe used depending on the context of the country. Good night/day
Hi
There is no international consensus for this threshold at the moment. Deciding on whether to respond depends on a number of factors ( prevalence , public health environment , contextual factors , available resource e.t.c)
