Our work reduces malnutrition, through a combination of innovative programming and operational research, combined with advocacy at national and international levels. The Minimum Reporting Package for emergency Supplementary Feeding Programmes has been developed over a number of years through the desire to improve accountability to our child beneficiaries through maximising the quality of programming. Save the Children are leading on a project to support its role out to ECHO implementing partners. We have an approximately 10 month home based (anywhere globally) role to join the project with the objective of improving programme management and thereby performance indicators, and to learn the positive determinants of good Supplementary Feeding Programme performance. Your role will be to lead and manage the ECHO funded Minimum Reporting Package for Emergency Supplementary Feeding Programmes global roll out; including managing and working collaboratively with the project team of three nutritionists and drawing on specialised consultant support. We see the successful candidate bringing to Save the Children a post graduate qualification or equivalent in nutrition. You’ll need significant experience managing supplementary feeding programmes in emergency contexts including acute malnutrition.
