Action Against Hunger is looking for an experienced nutritionist with experience in humanitarian sector to work in partnership with FEWS NET (Famine Early Warning Systems Network) and Chemonics.
The collaboration has four major elements:
1) Fully integrate nutrition into analyses framework and core monitoring and assessment plan
2) Link to existing surveillance systems and address un-met emergency information needs
3) Build analytical capability
4) Integrate nutrition into decision support
ACF’s role will be to develop and integrate nutrition early warning systems into FEWS NET through the analysis and use of indicators while also providing and developing nutrition guidance documentation and providing leadership in the expanded use of a nutrition security scale.
