As humanitarian emergencies rise across the Middle East and Africa, the demand for skilled professionals in government agencies, UN organizations, and NGOs continues to grow. The Nutrition in Emergencies (NIE) Training Course (2-credit) offers a dynamic, hands-on learning experience, culminating in a three-day simulation to prepare participants for real-world emergency response. Designed and delivered by international experts in the field, the course provides up-to-date knowledge in nutrition, health, and food security while introducing participants to the humanitarian system and the Nutrition Cluster.
Who: Targeting professionals and students in nutrition, health, food security, and related fields, the training equips participants with essential skills to assess nutritional status and address malnutrition in crisis settings.
When: Monday, June 16th, 2025 to Friday, June 27th, 2025 over 11 days (including Saturday, June 21st, 2025).
