The WHO Steering Committee and methodologists for the 2023 WHO guideline on wasting and nutritional oedema are leading a CHNRI exercise to develop a comprehensive global research priority agenda around wasting and nutritional oedema in infants and children under 5 years. This research priority agenda will aim to address the most urgent evidence and research gaps related to child health and health equity in these populations.
We are pleased to invite any researchers, clinicians, policy makers, program implementers, and community partners with expertise in wasting and nutritional oedema to complete survey 1.
The objectives of survey 1 are:
- To identify potential research questions that will enhance understanding of wasting and nutritional oedema and have the potential inform policy and practice
- To ensure the list of research questions is comprehensive and clear
- To collect expert feedback and suggestions for improvement
You can access the survey, which contains more detailed instructions, here.
The deadline for submission of survey 1 is 16 March 2025.
Thank you so much in advance for your contributions to this important process.
