You are invited to participate in a survey to prioritize research on small-quantity lipid-based nutrient supplements (SQ-LNS). There is a strong evidence base supporting the efficacy of SQ-LNS, but more research is needed to inform implementation and scaling-up of SQ-LNS within a variety of health, nutrition, and social protection programs. The methodology for this exercise follows the Child Health and Nutrition Research Initiative (CHNRI) approach.

In the survey, you will find a list of 20 research questions that have been proposed by members of the SQ-LNS Task Force. We now seek to solicit input from researchers, technical experts, program implementers, donors, and government representatives. Your valuable contribution will help inform the direction of future research and funding in this area. We would like to ask you to evaluate each of the proposed questions against a specified set of criteria: Reach, Effectiveness, Adoption, Implementation, and Research Affordability. For each criteria, you will be asked to rate the questions on a scale ranging from “highly likely” to “highly unlikely.”

The survey is available in English and French and you may choose your preferred language in the dropdown menu. We recommend completing this survey using a computer or a tablet. While it can be completed on a mobile phone, the questions are easier to view on a larger screen. We expect that this survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Your survey responses will be anonymous. The deadline to complete the survey has been extended to 3 October 2023.
