YOUR JOB AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director, you will be in charge of guaranteeing the quality, relevance and technical innovation of the Nutrition & Health strategy and interventions on the mission, in compliance with ACF standards and national policies.

More specifically, you will be required to:

Contribute to the definition of the country strategy, and to the definition of the strategy and positioning of the Nutrition Health technical department;

Coordinate the identification of needs and the formulation of project proposals;

Support the implementation and ensure the reporting of programs / projects in Health / Nutrition;

Guarantee the quality and accountability of projects;

Ensure the active participation of ACF in national sector coordination, technical platforms and develop sector partnerships;

Manage the Health/Nut team and in the coordination office and provide technical support to the health nutrition teams;

Promote capitalization, technical development and research within the Nutrition Health department;

YOUR PROFILE

You have a medical/paramedical profile, with a specialization in nutrition, public health, general medicine, nursing practices, or equivalent

You have at least three years' experience in the management of humanitarian and/or development projects on nutrition and health projects (Management and prevention of malnutrition, maternal and child care practices (IMCI), health sexual and reproductive, public health, ...)

You are recognized for your managerial skills, capacity building, and coordination

You have experience in sector strategy development

You have excellent relational and representation skills with partners, authorities, and the donor approach

You have the ability and ease to work in a volatile environment with strong security pressures

Training design and facilitation is a valued skill

YOUR CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

12 months of fixed-term contract under French law

Gross monthly entry salary from 2450 to 2800€ depending on experience

Per diem and monthly living expenses: 1021 USD (cf eurocost) net, paid in the field.

Monthly context allowance: €150

Child allowance: €1,500 per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of €6,000/year)

16% of gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens.

Transport and accommodation: Support for travel and collective accommodation

Medical coverage: 100% of the payment of health contributions (CFE + complementary health) and repatriation insurance

Leave and RnR: 25 days per year, 20 RTT per year and €215 paid during the recovery period

Training: Unlimited and free access to the e-learning platform certifying Crossknowledge ©
