Is someone aware of proofs that CMAM is working efficiently in Asia?
Thanks
One good example is the work done in Bangladesh by Tufts and SCUS. "Communiy case management of Severe Acute Malnutrtion in Southern Bangladesh. Operational effectiveness and opportunities for programs and policy"
There are quite a few other programmes so maybe other En-net users can send you references of write ups. Many programmes are still at a pilot phase.

A summary of the pilot evaluation from Bardiya district has been published in ENN Fieldexchange September 2010 issue 39.

13 years agoAbout CMAM in Nepal, it is yet to be incorporated into CMAM but efforts are underway to see how similar protocols can be used in both pograms. CMAM is still in Pilot in Nepal and how OTPs can be incorporated into CB-IMCI case manageemnt for severe malnutrition.
Considering that GAM is more than 15% in more thaqn half od districts , the governemtn palns to expand CMAM into all the high risk districts.
