We in Save The Children, are proposing a new project under the title of "IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF NUTRITION/HEALTH SERVICES AND PSYCHOSOCIAL HEALTH SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILIES IN GAZA"

Based on that, Save The Children seeks the support in delivering a training package to be delivered for health service providers. The training package is on provision of health and nutrition services for children with disabilities in alignment to the maternal and child national nutrition protocol.

We appreciate your collaboration and support and thank you in advance.

Dear Hanan! It is wonderful to hear that you are working on strengthening services for children with disabilities and their families in Gaza. USAID Advancing Nutrition has developed a package, the Responsive Care and Early Learning Addendum, for strengthening nutrition services to provide more comprehensive counseling around nurturing care with a disability-inclusion focus. One module is specifically focused on supporting children with feeding difficulties. If you click on the link, you can download the entire package (planning guide, training materials, illustrated counseling cards, etc.). I would be happy to connect with you directly to share more as well.

In addition, we are nearly finishing compiling a Feeding and Disability Resource Bank that will contain other tools and training packages related to identifying and managing feeding difficulties and providing support for children with disabilities and their families. I would be happy to share the link once it is available.
