On behalf of the International Rescue Committee and World Vision International, we have the honor to invite you to attend a hybrid virtual/in-person event during the upcoming 75th World Health Assembly, "Tackling the Crisis of Acute Malnutrition: Improving Treatment Coverage."
While the operationalization of the Global Action Plan and Nutrition for Growth commitments are positive developments, we must identify and promote innovations, like the simplified approaches, that have potential to effectively increase treatment coverage. Implementing community-based, simplified approaches is proven to be an efficacious and cost-effective approach. Join the IRC and WVI to discuss the essential scaling of treatment coverage to minimize preventable child deaths.
