Discharge criteria for OTP is MUAC > 11.5 cm at two consecutive visits and evidence of weight gain 15 % weight gain of the admission at the time of discharge.

There are many variations on discharge criteria. If you are using the NCHS standards then discharge from OTP where there is SFP is often done at >80% WFH or >85% if no SFP. The 15% weight gain criterion is being discredited in some studies (notably MSF). This criterion results in the least wasted requiring the greatest weight gain for recovery. If you are using the new WHO GS then WFH >-2Z seems to be standard for discharge from OTP to SFP. The MUAC should, as previously noted be > 11.5cm on discharge in any case.
