Dear colleagues,

We have an opportunity to provide input to the ‘Making nutrition an integral part of Universal Health Coverage (UHC)’ Tokyo 2020 working group.

The World Health Organisation (the convener of the UHC group) has drafted an initial matrix of actions, which is currently under review by participating partners. Amongst these is a call for CSOs to analyse gaps in access, quality and utilization of services and define bottlenecks of implementation, using a human rights/equity perspective (e.g. vulnerable groups, women).

Civil society organisations are therefore invited to contribute documentation of national, sub-national and community level health service gaps in addressing population nutrition needs by completing the following survey by 20th May : https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/N4GSurvey2019

Please see the guidance note here for background information, terminology definitions and survey questions for reference.

WHO and UHC working group partners will utilize this gap analysis in prioritizing action recommendations for the Tokyo Nutrition Summit.
