Save the Children UK is recruiting!
Senior Nutrition Advisor
Save the Children's Hunger Reduction Team aims to reduce malnutrition amongst children under five years of age, through a combination of innovative programming in developing countries, supported by advocacy and policy change at national and international level. We are recruiting for a Senior Nutrition Advisor to join our dynamic team in the London Policy Department. It's a great opportunity to create lasting change that enables children to enjoy their right to freedom from hunger.
In this new and exciting position you will play a key role guiding and implementing our hunger reduction strategy. You will proactively work with our offices and partners at national and international levels to generate new evidence of the means to tackle undernutrition. You will lead on monitoring and evaluation for our hunger reduction work, garnering a collaborative approach with colleagues. You will work as part of a team to develop and deliver our key policy messages and advocate effectively. You will influence decision-makers to improve their policies and practice so that child hunger and malnutrition is tackled faster and in smarter ways.
Supervising and providing leadership to nutrition advisers and an intern in the global Hunger Reduction Team at Save the Children, you will be an expert on tackling child malnutrition in development contexts, and you will be driven to make a difference.
