WFP Burundi is looking for a fortification consultant to work on a number of joint programmes which will build the capacity of small, medium and large millers at national level. Food fortification is one of the ways in which micronutrient deficiencies are being addressed in Burundi which is the country most affected by stunting in the world.
The position is based in Bujumbura with travel to the field and is a key position for the country office in its role as lead on fortification at national level. We are looking for a candidate with skills in building capacity on fortification and with experience in working with millers. Proven experience in fortification as well as Intermediate or advanced knowledge of French will be looked at favorably. The initial duration of the contract is for 11 months.
