Eleanor Crook Foundation is excited to announce the Nutrition Innovations in Complex Environments Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). This BAA was developed in partnership with ECF, DFID, and USAID and will be rolled out in addition to ECF's regular request for applications (RFA) process for implementation research projects. ECF may potentially fund or co-fund expressions of interest from this BAA with USAID. Additionally, ECF will continue with our annual Research, Innovate, Scale, Establish (RISE) for Nutrition RFA process, which ECF will announce later this summer. ECF's implementation research arm funds studies in East Africa implemented by large INGOs and local partners. Our RISE for Nutrition grant portfolio aims to improve nutrition outcomes through high-impact, cost-effective and scalable innovations.

This BAA is the first step in a longterm relationship with both USAID and DFID. We're excited to move forward in partnership with our tentative launch event with ECF Executive Director William Moore and USAID Administrator Mark Green. We had initially planned this launch for early May, but it will now likely take place in late June.

All questions and Expressions of Interest (EOI) should be submitted to BAANutrition@usaid.gov. Questions should be submitted by May 21, 2018 and EOIs should be submitted by June 1, 2018. The BAA can be found at the following two links:
