Country: MYANMAR – Maungdaw Base

Length of contract: 12 months – Starting November 1st 2017

The position: Under the supervision of the Field Coordinator, you will be responsible to implement and manage a nutrition and health program.
More precisely, you will be in charge to:

Establish and supervise activities in the framework of nutritional projects
• Manage the project cycle in nutrition and health
• Meet the objectives of ACF in the centre dealing with malnutrition
• Be responsible for the program’s quality

Organise staff development programs for the ACF teams
• Evaluate the technical levels and cross functional skills of the ACF teams
• Identify the training needs
• Ensure the quality and pertinence of training programmes established for the ACF teams

Coach and manage the program’s team
• Assess twice a year the skills and the performance of the team’s program
• Be responsible for the team’s management

Develop and direct operations
• Introduce an adapt strategy for malnutrition adapted to the local context
• Schedule implementation of the program and alert the Field Coordinator of any difficulties with the resources
• Be responsible of the reporting with a critical analysis
• Identify and propose the development of new programmes
• Write the nutritional and health sections of proposals for new activities

Represent ACF and develop local partnerships
• Distribute the information collected to the partners
• Be responsible of the quality of relations with partners


The applicant: You hold a Nurse, Nutritionist or Public Health Nutritionist degree, with a strong experience in nutrition programs and in the implementation of CMAM activities. You have demonstrated a strong knowledge of the project cycle management and good reporting skills. You have a proven experience in monitoring, data collection and analysis, especially in nutrition survey. Your English is fluent (written and spoken).

Status: Salaried - Gross monthly salary ranging from €1600 to €1975
Food and hygiene expenses, per diem, transportation costs, collective accommodation and medical insurance
25 days of annual paid leaves and 20 days of rest and recuperation (R&R) per year

You're looking for someone with a significant amount of high level experience on Nutrition health program manager .

I have three years experience in clinical nutrition , project monitoring and evaluation and outreach programs.

The role demands an individual who is credible for managing and leading nutrition health projects ,responsible for programs progress ,representing the organisation amongst other important roles .
