We are looking for :
A NUTRITION & HEALTH COORDINATOR (M / F)

Country: Central African Republic - Bangui

Contract duration: 12 months to be filled from April 15

The Role: Reporting to the Deputy Country Director, you will be responsible for defining strategies and coordinate actions of Action Against Hunger in the field of health and nutrition. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

Design, capitalizing and evaluating the nutritional and health interventions and advocacy actions in its sector
• Collect data for surveillance, monitoring and evaluation
• Produce a quality analysis of the nutritional situation 
• Write nutritional and medical 'proposals'

• Developing a technical strategy as well as nutrition and health advocacy

Monitor and coordinate programs in the fields of nutrition and health

• Develop an integrated (multi-sectoral) programme
• Produce quality activity reports
• Follow the consolidated budgets of all nutrition and health programmes allocated to the country

Manage the Nutrition - Health team in the capital and be the functional manager of the field based programme managers of Nutrition & Health
• Supervise teams (recruitment, sensitisation, monitoring, motivation, skills development, evaluations, etc.)
• Identify training needs and ensure their quality and adaptation to the ACF teams.

Develop and conduct programs and advocacy in partnership with national and local actors
• Disseminate the sectoral ACF strategy to partners and donors across the country
• Develop and maintain a network of relationships with national representatives and program partners (donors, other NGOs, partners, etc.)

Represent ACF and its position in the field of health and nutrition
• Represent ACF in national and international forums on nutrition and health
• Be guarantor of the dissemination and understanding of ACF positions and protocols with national and international bodies

The Candidate: nutritionist, nurse or physician by training, you bring at least 5 years experience in the field of international solidarity, of which at least 3 years has been in a position of coordination and team management in the field of nutrition and health. Ideally, you also bring expertise in protocols for the management of malnutrition and nutrition survey methodologies (SMART, CAS ...).
You have excellent interpersonal and writing skills and communication skills with diplomacy and firmness. You are also known for your team spirit and your ability to unite your teams effectively.
You also feel comfortable to work and live in an unstable security environment.
Fluent French (written and spoken) is essential.

Salary conditions:
Compensation from 1805 to 2305 € gross monthly depending on experience.
RARE SPECIAL ALLOWANCE IS ISSUED FOR THIS POSITION (12% gross salary)
Benefits include transport costs and dental hygiene, collective accommodation
5 weeks of paid leave per year and 20 JRTT
