We are looking for :
A NUTRITION & HEALTH COORDINATOR (M / F)

Assignment country: Central African Republic - Bangui with frequent field visits

Contract duration: 12 months, to be filled from March 15

The Role: Reporting to the Country Director, you will be responsible for defining strategies and coordinating actions of Action Against Hunger in the field of health and nutrition. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

Design, managing and evaluating the nutritional and health interventions and advocacy actions in the sector
• Collect data for surveillance, monitoring and evaluation
• Produce high quality analysis of the nutritional situation 
• Write nutritional and medical 'proposals'

• Developing a technical strategy as well as nutrition and health advocacy

Monitor and coordinate programs in the fields of nutrition and health
• Develop integrated (multi-sectoral) programmes
• Produce quality business reports
• Follow the consolidated budgets of all nutrition and health programmes in the country allocated

Act as team manager Nutrition - Health in the capital and be functionally responsible program manager of Nutrition & Health in the field sites
• Supervise teams (recruitment, training, monitoring, motivation, skills development, evaluations, etc.)
• Identify training needs and ensure their quality and adaptation to the ACF teams.

Develop and conduct programs and advocacy in partnership with national and local actors
• Disseminate the ACF strategy to partners and donors across the country
• Develop and maintain a network of relationships with national representatives and program partners (donors, other NGOs, partners, etc.)

Represent ACF and raise its position in the field of health and nutrition
• Represent ACF in national and international forums on nutrition and health
• Be guarantor of the dissemination and understanding of ACF positions and protocols with national and international bodies

Profile: Nurse or doctor by training, you have at least 5 years experience in the field of international solidarity, of which at least 3 years has been in a position of coordination and team management in the field of nutrition and health. You also understand the management protocols of malnutrition (CAMM) and nutrition survey methodologies (SMART, CAS ...).
You have excellent interpersonal skills with partners and the authorities, as well as writing skills.
Fluent French language (written and spoken) is essential.

Salary conditions:
Compensation from 1805 to 2305 € gross monthly depending on experience.

Transport costs, subsistence (food/hygiene) costs, shared accommodation
5 weeks of paid leave per year and 20 JRTT
