Malnutrition among children and women are very common in our region and Government of Punjab, Pakistan is investing billions for the prevention and treatment of Malnutrition. We have established stabilization centers at all District Headquarter Hospitals and more than 200 SAM Children getting treatment from our Stabilization centers on daily basis. We are treating SAM Children with medical complication with F100 and F75 Therapeutic Milk. The Department procured large quantity of above said item but unfortunately due to some reason we received short expiry F100 and F75 . Currently we are not treating malnourished pregnant and lactating women (PLW) but we have high case load of malnourished PLWs. Can we use these product for the treatment of Malnourished Pregnant and lactating women? if yes what will the procedure  -should we use it with cereals/wheat or in liquid form?
