I have seen the WHO growth arm circumference-for-age growth charts- Should I be including MUAC as a regular Growth Screening for institutionalized children? Or just upon initial assessment into facilities or programs?

We serve various types of institutionalized children in 13 developing countries from birth to 16 yrs old (although only considering MUAC tracking for 6-59 months). In a variety of institution types and care facilities with all types of children, including those with severe disabilities. There are varying levels of malnutrition found in children (especially those with disabilities), although most of the malnutrition is long term. We do all other growth screening steps including WHO charting for weight, height, age etc.

Thanks for any help!
