We are looking for the following person to join the Operations Department:
AN OPERATIONAL TECHNICIAN, HEALTH & NUTRITION 
Middle East
Based in Paris (17ème)

Mission: Under the responsibility of the Deputy Regional Director of the Pool Operations and under the functional responsibility of the technical sector, the technical expert will be in charge of supporting the field and office teams to ensure the quality, relevance and technical innovation of ACF interventions. Specifically, he/she will be responsible for:

• Provide technical advice to missions
• Promote and assess the technical quality of interventions
• Develop technical expertise of teams
• Participate in the management of human resources of the business sector
• Promote technical progress and contribute to the development of ACF expertise on the field
• Contribute to the nutrition sector regionalisation project in the Middle East

Profile: University qualification (Bac +4/5) in the area of nutrition or masters in public health, you have humanitarian field experience of at least 3 years, 1 year coordinating operations. Mastery of the project management cycle, particularly partnership processes and sustainability of nutrition and health projects is essential. Knowledge of the Middle East is a real asset. Autonomous in managing your priorities, you are known for your interpersonal skills and your interest in teamwork, guaranteeing an integrated approach. Fluency in English is necessary.

Status: Autonomous Framework - CDD (6 months) - Full Time

Salary conditions: 35 to 41K annual gross € over 13 months according to experience; 19 days off, 20 days telecommuting per year (as part of the ACF telework policy after managerial agreement), restaurant vouchers to 8 € (supported 60% by ACF), complementary health care (to 80% by ACF), refund 50% of transit costs.

Position start date: July 4, 2016

Special skills and conditions: prolonged sitting Station, Speaking, screen work, frequent travel to provide support in the Middle East region
