The Scaling Up Nutrition Civil Society Network (SUN CSN) is seeking a consultant to support civil society fundraising and sustainability efforts in SUN 2.0 in order to ensure established Civil Society Alliances, regional hubs and the SUN Civil Society Network secretariat successfully secure funding agreements for the next 4 years.

OBJECTIVES

• To provide tailored support to at least 15 CSAs that require fundraising support to secure funds for the next 2 years at least (through an online support forum, responding to direct requests for support, holding at least 1 or 2 sessions as part of capacity strengthening workshops,…)
• To support SUN CSN advocacy efforts and contribute to key discussions for the establishment of a fund at the global level to support CSAs ensuring equitable access to funding for CSAs, with a priority on those established in countries with little or no donor presence
• To support the SUN CSN secretariat and the SUN CSN Strategy and Sustainability Task Force to implement the current resourcing strategy, support the coordination by the SUN CSN secretariat of fundraising efforts and provide guidance as to most strategic and resource efficient manner towards successfully securing long-term funding for the SUN CSN.
• To contribute to initial stages of a SUN wide coordinated resourcing strategy for SUN in SUN 2.0 and beyond (if time remains).

This work is expected to start as soon as possible and run through till the end of 2016.
