We are looking for the Department Expertise & Advocacy:
A COORDINATOR QUALITY NUTRITIONAL PRODUCTS AND FOOD (H / F)
Based in Paris 17ème
Mission: Under the responsibility of the referent Nutrition & Surveillance, quality coordinator of nutritional and food will be responsible for establishing and monitoring a system of insurance of quality and nutritional food products and its promotion, in line with international standards and in line with the policy of ACF nutrition & health. Specifically, he will be responsible for:
The necessary technical management of nutritional and food
• Define and review the technical standards of each nutritional and dietary product
• Ensure compliance procedures and quality standards relating to (Headquarters and field level)
• Update existing tools and guides internally
• Integrating international quality group (MSF, UNICEF, WFP, etc.)
• Develop training for staff of the nutrition / health and logistics at all levels on management of nutritional products and product tracking
Contribute to international and local procurement as a technical focal point quality nutritional and food
• Implement the quality management system (Quality Management System - QMS)
• Update the internal catalog with new products, new specifications
• Participate in internal and external calls for tenders
• Identify and technically validate suppliers and laboratories (audits)
Provide technical and programmatic support for the field
• Provide technical support to field teams on all issues related to the management of nutritional products (of the order storage, quality assurance, etc.)
• Ensure proper management of products, their proper use and compliance with procedures
• Provide technical support for quality specialists in missions
Monitoring and evaluation
• Assist missions in developing a monitoring tool consumption / stock
• Develop a tool to trace products Alerts (change of color, texture, smell, missing information on bags, etc ...) received from the field
Ensure representation of ACF and coordination issues around nutritional products with partners
• Ensure representation of ACF in the context of external meetings with other agencies / partners
• Wear advocacy ACF on any identified issues around nutritional products
• Work with MSF and other NGOs on quality assurance co-animating the quality group inter NGOs
Profile: Holder of a Master in food technology, engineering or nutrition, you have significant experience of minimum 5 years in the field of nutrition or food. You also have in-depth knowledge in the fields of food processing, product development or purchase specialized nutritional products.
Organized (e) and autonomous, you are recognized (e) for your strong analytical and synthesis as well as your communication skills. You also have the ability to form and effectively convey a message to your audience.
A nutritional program management experience with an NGO or the United Nations is desirable.
Fluent French and English (written and spoken) required.
Status: Integrated Framework - CSD 9 months - Full Time
Salary conditions: 35 to 41K annual gross € over 13 months according to experience 21 days off, 20 days telecommuting per year (as part of the ACF telework policy after managerial agreement), securities restaurant to 8 € (supports 60% by ACF), complementary health (care to 80% by ACF), refund 50% transit.
