The ENN ( www.ennonline.net ) is recruiting an Asia-based Regional Knowledge Management (KM) Specialist. The Asia Regional KM Specialist will join a global team working on the inception phase of a 4-year project to support knowledge management within the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) movement. The main context of ENN’s KM focus will be on fragile and conflicted states.
The Regional KM Specialist position is a consultancy contract from April to May 2016 with a view to extension when the 4-year project starts in June 2016. Salary will be based on experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for: Working with regional SUN actors to support the capture, documentation and dissemination of knowledge and experiences of scaling up nutrition. Improving the regional relevance and use of ENN KM products and activities.
Outputs: Completed mapping of reach of KM products in the region; interviews conducted and content for publication and dissemination developed; relevant regional relationships and networks for future KM work established, feedback provided into the 4-year KM action plan.
Based in: Negotiable but ideally India.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
3-5 years of experience of working in the nutrition/food security/health sector in Asia. Experience working in an interdisciplinary environment or across sectors.
Communications/media/advocacy experience gained via previous role (e.g. journalism, qualitative research, advocacy etc.).
Educated to degree level. Postgraduate qualification desirable.
Fluency in English and regional languages.
Experience of working with different levels of government, UN and national and international NGOs.
Ability to think critically and analytically.
Very strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience working on social media projects and/or facilitation of online communities.
Good team working skills and experience training/mentoring
