if the child is more than 6 months and not breastfeeding during the night is it classified as breastfeeding problem?
No, this does not indicate a problem. Some babies will sleep longer stretches and not wake for feeds; whereas, others will feed frequently during the night at this age - both senarios are within the realm of normal. A baby that sleeps through the night should be offered the breast often during the day. If the baby is content, eating well, gaining weight and reaching developmental milestones appropriately, I would not be concerned.
