I am invited to talk at a meeting in Rome next week organized by the Rome-based UN agencies and the CGIAR to discuss the data needs for monitoring and evaluating the SDG2 targets. I will focus on the nutrition goal and would appreciate your inputs on the following:
1) What metrics should SDGs use for wasting and why?
2) What data is currently collected at national levels routinely?
3) What and where are the data gaps?
4) What would you recommend as the new data architecture to evaluate progress on wasting?
