We are looking for: A SENIOR RESEARCH ADVISOR Based in Paris 17 Description: Under the supervision of the Director of Expertise and Advocacy, you will be in charge of organizing and supervising the development of ACF’s research and analysis. More specifically, you will be in charge of: • Management of the Research and Analysis Department • Coordinating with appropriate staff from different departments to finalize and implement the new 2020 ACF Research Strategy • Ensuring the design and deployment of the ACF new “monitoring and evaluation” system (M&E) • Overseeing the management of research cross-cutting projects undertaken by ACF • Ensuring the strategic development of ACF research activities internally (internal representation) and externally (external representation, fundraising) • Contributing to the management of the International Scientific Council and the ACF Research Foundation • Reporting on ACF research and analysis activities Qualification and previous experience: BA/Master’s degree required, and at least 4 years of experience in research, research management or research project implementation. You must have a deep knowledge of research strategies and politics or a strong experience in monitoring and/or evaluation of programs in an international organization. you must have excellent skills in coordinating and managing research projects. You are organized and independent, you demonstrate clear abilities in analysis, synthesis and communication. Experience in humanitarian work and knowledge of ACF is a plus. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is necessary. Good knowledge of the French language.
