Action contre la Faim is looking for: A Link NCA PROJECT COORDINATOwR Based in Paris, France [url]http://www.actioncontrelafaim.org/fr/content/link-nca-project-coordinator[/url] Project Description: In order to strengthen the analytical basis on which programs are built and their impact on undernutrition, ACF has invested in the development of a structured methodology for conducting causal analysis of undernutrition, called "Link NCA". The method was developed by a multidisciplinary working group, responding to the need for a standardized and scientifically proven methodology to analyze the causes of undernutrition at a local level. Link-NCA method was designed specifically for operational stakeholders to provide a rigorous analysis to develop adapted nutritional response strategies and programs. ACF has received funding to develop the capacity of humanitarian actors to prepare, implement and use the results of Link NCA studies, through training, technical support, study supervision and documentation and communication of lessons learned. The Link NCA Project Coordinator will be responsible for : Ensure the overall management of the LINK-NCA project - Supervise project implementation and manage the budget - Supervise Monitoring and evaluation of the project (mid-term and final evaluation) - Ensure communication and coordination with projects partners and contributors - Validate and coordinate activities and agreements with external partners - Coordinate with ACF departments ( HR, finance, legal, audit, operations, logistics, communication, advocacy) - Validate and coordinate project activities with national offices (ACF or partners) in the 3 target countries - Prepare activity reports and ensure regular contact with the donor Manage the project team - Recruit, manage, support, and appraise the Link-NCA project manager(s) and intern(s) - Identify and supervise scientific consultants Ensure scientific expertise on Link-NCA method - Organize and facilitate trainings on the Link-NCA method - Provide technical support for the preparation and implementation of Link-NCA studies - Develop the process and methodology for response analysis of the response following an NCA study - Ensure scientific watch on NCA methods - Define and validate with external partners, technical experts and scientists improvements in methodology based on results and stakeholders feedbacks Coordinate the deployment and promotion of the Link-NCA method - Develop and implement the deployment strategy of the method - Seek additional funding for the project -Coordinate and monitor all internal/external communication activities (website, newsletter, scientific and technical articles ...) - Promote Link-NCA method internally and externally Qualification and previous experience: Master level in social sciences, public health, nutrition or socio-economics. Minimum 6 years professional experience, including at least 2 years in the fields of humanitarian or development context. Strong capacity and confirmed experience in implementation and analysis of quantitiative and qualitative studies. Experience in project management, preferably in consortium, project proposals writing and production of guides and/or methodological tools. Experience in conducting applied research projects is a plus. Good knowledge in nutrition, public health and epidemiology. You are recognized for your great analysis and synthesis capabilities. Organized and autonomous. Good communication skills and capacities to work in a multidisciplinary team. Fluency in English, both written and oral, required.
