But many others are also available and are also very good. Key things I advise prospective students include: 1) Check COURSE CONTENT carefully to ensure your future career development needs will be met (e.g. which modules are compulsory? which optional ones are available? What do they cover in detail?) Different courses are "right" for different people. Related to this, CHECK ENTRY REQUIREMENTS before applying (a surprising number of people don't seem to...) 2) Talk to previous and current students. The quality/eventual career destination of alumni/graduates often says lots about the course. 3) Check if the course has been independently validated/certified (e.g by the Association for Nutrition [url]http://www.associationfornutrition.org/Default.aspx?tabid=74[/url] 4) Check the various university websites to see what kind of summer research projects people do (if any) as part of their course 5) Consider your personal circumstances and how an MSc/course will 'fit' with your other commitments. Don't underestimate how hugely demanding study can be and ensure you have enough protected time. Look at the Federation of the Red Cross and see what courses they offer in this field. How about the World Food Programme or some sort of Refugee Programme that deals in Nutrition.
