We are looking for: A NUTRITION AND HEALTH PROGRAM MANAGER Country: Myanmar, based in Buthidaung Length of Contract: 12 months starting as soon as possible General objective: Under the supervision of the field coordinator, you will be responsible to To establish and manage a nutrition and health programme. Responsibilities: - Establish and supervise activities in the framework of nutritional projects: Management of the project cycle in nutrition and health, Meeting the objectives of ACF in the centres dealing with malnutrition, the quality of the programme for which he/she is responsible… - Organise staff development programmes for the ACF teams: Evaluation of the technical skill level of the ACF teams, Identification of training needs, Skills development for ACF staff in his/her programme, Ensuring the quality and pertinence of training programmes established for the ACF teams… - Training and managing the programme team: The twice yearly assessment of the skills and performance of the ACF teams in his/her programme, The management of his/her teams (leadership, monitoring, motivation....)… - Develop and direct operations: Proposing a strategy for addressing the problem of malnutrition which is adapted to the local context, Timely and high quality implementation of planned activities within his/her programme and alerting the Field Coordinator to any delays or excessive or under-use of resources, Timely and high quality reporting, both internal and external, of the activities of his/her programme, together with a critical analysis, Identifying and proposing the development of new programmes, Writing the nutritional and medical sections of proposals for new activities in his/her zone… - Represent ACF and develop local partnerships: The professional standing of ACF in his/her geographical area, the distribution to partners of information collected locally, Respect for the principles and values of ACF in its relations with partners, The quality of relations with partners… Qualification and previous experience: Nurse degree. Experienced in nutritionist position, with at at least one proven CMAM project management experience Humanitarian experience, with a strong medical background in tense context highly desirable. Good composure and ability to evolve in stressful context is mandatory. Demonstrated ability in collaborative/team work. Excellent communication skills and team management. A first experience with ACF will be a plus. Professional English.
