We are looking for: A PSYCHOLOGIST - MENTAL HEALTH & CARE PRACTICES PROGRAMME MANAGER Country: Myanmar – Sittwe, Rakhine State Length of Contract: 12 months, starting on December 15th General objective: Under the supervision of the Field Coordinator, you will be in charge to manage the Mental Health and Care Practices (MHCP) program. Responsibilities: More specially, you will have to: Contribute to define the mental health and care practices strategy - Manage the project cycle in MHCP program - Meet the objectives of ACF in the centres dealing with malnutrition/psychosocial issue - Ensure the quality of the programs Organise staff development programmes for ACF teams - Evaluate the technical skill level of the ACF teams - Identify training needs and skills development for ACF staff in your program - Ensure the quality and pertinence of training programmes established for the ACF teams Train and manage the programme team - Realize the twice yearly assessment of the skills and performance of the ACF teams in your programme - Manage your teams with leadership, monitor their performance and contribute to their motivation Develop and manage direct operations - The timely and high quality implementing of planned activities within your programme - Identify and proposing the development of new programmes Represent ACF and develop local partnerships - Sustain the professional standing of ACF in your geographical area - Distribute to partners of information collected locally - Maintain and developing the quality of relations with partners Qualification and previous experience: Psychologist, psychiatrist and/or child psychiatrist with a humanitarian experience in tense contexts highly desirable. Clinical experience is compulsory. You are recognized for your strong capacity-building and training skills. Your diplomacy, your context sensitivity and your team management skills enable you to evolve in stressful contexts. You have developed key skills in working with local partners and government. Excellent English skills are required.
