We are looking for:
A NUTRITION FLYING TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Country : Kabul (but regular trips in the field)
Length of Contract : 6 months, starting from the 1st of September 2014
General objective : Under the supervision of the Head of Nutrition and Health Department, you will be responsible to support and mentor Nutrition & Health Program managers in technical and managerial aspects of their position (capacity-building)
Responsibilities : More specially, you will be in charge to:
• The job training and development of the nutrition managers’ technical skills
• Mentor Managers on quality, accountability and impact measurement process of the program
• Establish training and skills development plan for the Nutrition teams of the current programs and provide technical trainings
• Reinforcement of the capacities of the managers in capitalization and technical development in the sector
Qualification and previous experience: You hold a master degree in health and nutrition or adequate fields. You have 1-2 years experiences in Health and Nutrition projects ideally with ACF or INGO’s in Emergency or Recovery context.
You have good knowledge on Health & Nutrition Monitoring Tools and Methodologies. You have a successful experience in project cycle management and remote management. You are also able to train, coach and mentor your team in a multicultural context and in a successful way.
Your English is compulsory.
Status :
Volunteer status (VSI) for applicants:
- with less than 5 years of work experiences and less than 12 months of humanitarian experience in expatriation with NGO
- or with more than 5 years of work experiences but less than 10 years of work experiences and less than 6 months of humanitarian experience in expatriation with NGO:
- Fixed-term contract of 1 year, renewable
- All expenses paid on the field:
o Support to the R & R costs : 110€/month average
o Transportation costs to and from the mission : 460€/ month average,
o Collective or individual accommodation depending on position : 700€/month average
o Food and hygiene expenses (living allowance) : 254€ /month directly paid on the field
o Per Diem : 161€ /month directly paid on the field
- €838 of indemnities per month on your bank account
- Social benefits: Medical, life and accident insurance provided by the institution
- Acquisition of 2.5 days of paid leaves per entirely worked month
- Recovery time breaks of one week every 2 or 4 months depending on the mission + break allowances
- Pre departure training, at the HQ in Paris
Salaried status for applicant with the profile required :
Total average yearly gross income: from 42245€ to 47120€
- All expenses paid on the field:
o Support to the R & R costs : 110€/month average
o Transportation costs to and from the mission : 460€/ month average,
o Collective or individual accommodation depending on position : 700€/month average
o Food and hygiene expenses (living allowance) : 254€ /month directly paid on the field
o Per Diem : 161€ /month directly paid on the field
- Gross monthly salary ranging from €1600 to €1975 (13rd month included), depending on relevant experience
- Social benefits: Medical, life and accident insurance provided by the institution
- 25 days of annual paid leaves
- 20 days of extra leaves per year (taken as recovery time breaks of one week every 2 or 4 months depending on the mission) + break allowances
- Pre departure training, at the HQ in Paris
