A NUTRITION AND HEALTH MONITORING AND EVALUATION PROGRAM MANAGER Country: Afghanistan, based in Kabul with regular field visit possibly all over Afghanistan Length of Contract: 12 months starting from the 1st of July 2014 General objective: Under the supervision of the Head of Nutrition and Health Department, you will be responsible to ensure the development, implementation and follow up of the Health and Nutrition Monitoring and Evaluation project in Afghanistan. Responsibilities: More precisely, you will be in charge to: • Manage the overall coordination and partnership development in link with the project • Lead the National Assessment Working Group (AWG) chair by Public Nutrition Department of Ministry of Public Health • Conduct SMART surveys or Rapid Nutrition Assessment in partnership with nutrition and health activity implementers • Manage the program team • Manage logistics and financial resources of the project Qualification and previous experience: You have at least 2 years in humanitarian sector, management of nutrition projects, and management and evaluation of nutrition and health assessments. You have strong knowledge and a first experience in monitoring and evaluation including nutrition and health assessments and surveys (SMART, SQUEAC). You have a first successful experience in partnership management and in humanitarian coordination (UN cluster) Excellent communication, sense of diplomacy and negotiation skills compulsory. Ability to work in a highly sensitive environment. Fully Fluent in English.
