We are looking for: A FLYING MENTAL HEALTH AND CARE PRACTICES COORDINATOR Country: All ACF-FR missions Length of Contract: long term contract, starting as soon as possible Responsibilities: The flying MHCP coordinator will be tasked with coordinating MHCP programs on ACF’s field missions, for short interim assignments (2/3 months) and/or in case of humanitarian emergencies requiring his/her urgent deployment. Responsibilities will be subjected to variations according to contexts and types of intervention, and will follow terms of reference agreed upon with field missions. Workload will be divided between: Field missions and emergency assignments (approximately 80% of the time) - Assessing and following-up on the humanitarian situation in terms of MHCP in the country: collect and analyse internal and external data and alert in case of emergency, identify population’s need… - Define MHCP programmes’ strategy: define the area of intervention, lead or organize MHCP surveys to identify beneficiaries’ needs, redact proposals and technical reports for institutional donors, contribute to ACF’s preparation for humanitarian emergencies, propose strategies of intervention… - Supervise MHCP programmes: guarantee the technical and operational programming methodology, implement and follow-up projects, lead the review and assessment of projects… - Represent ACF among partners and coordination platforms - Supervise and manage MHCP teams Headquarters activities (approximately 20% of the time) - Ensure timely and qualitative reporting on field missions: write end mission reports and diffuse them to Country Director, Regional Director of Operations, Head of the Emergency Pool and MHCP referent, follow-up on recommendations… -Actively contribute to the Emergency Pool activities: contribute to developing emergency preparedness tools, develop and promote the emergency kit… Qualification and previous experience: Graduate and/or post-graduate degree in psychology. At least three years of field experience with a humanitarian NGO, including at least one experience in an emergency context. Proven experience of team management and project coordination. Writing and communication skills necessary. Background in transcultural, humanitarian and child development psychology. Ability to cope with stressful and unstable environments. French and English necessary at a professional level (oral and written).
