We are looking for: A SQUEAC NUTRITION SURVEY PROGRAM MANAGER Country: Myanmar, Based in Sittwe- Rakhine State Length of Contract: 2 months from the 21st of April 2014 General objective: The SQUEAC nutrition survey program manager will have to use existing programme data and easy-to-collect data, to identify primary factors affecting CMAM programme coverage, and to reliably estimate overall programme coverage using the SQUEAC method. Responsibilities: More specially, you will be in charge to: Prepare and organise of the SQUEAC survey. • Ensure that adequate information regarding geography, population and general situation are collected. • Consolidate routine programme data (qualitative and quantitative) and oversee the collection of new data/information for analysis • Ensure that survey methodology is in line with the SQUEAC methodology • Ensure that questionnaires are elaborated/updated, agreed on and translated to local language. • Ensure that timeframe, planning, training plan, and necessary materials are adequate and available. • Ensure the recruitment and training of survey team • Ensure survey is carried out correctly inconformity with the chosen methodology and agreed timeframe. Collect field data for correction and analysis • Carry out small-area and wide-area surveys to support the findings of the investigation and estimate overall coverage • To check the quality of the data entered in the software and clean the data base • To run appropriate analysis on the collected data. • Prepare data and formulate conclusions on coverage situation to be included in the preliminary and final report Write the SQUEAC survey’s preliminary and final reports and present survey results and recommendations to stakeholders Qualification and previous experience: Post-graduate diploma in nutrition and/or nurse. A significant experience in ethnic conflict context is highly desirable, as well as a first-hand knowledge and experience of the SMART survey methodology. You are fully trained in SQUEAC Survey and must have done successfully at least one SQUEAC survey. Successful applicants will demonstrate excellent English writing and presentation skills. You are recognized for your communication abilities and both demonstrated a previous experience in management and capacity building. Good composure and ability to evolve in stressful context are mandatory. A previous experience with ACF is an asset.
