ACF has received a three years consortium research grant from the British Government (UKAid/DFID) for the Research for Food Assistance Nutritional Impact (REFANI). The REFANI consortium is led by ACF, in partnership with Concern Worldwide, the Emergency Nutrition Network (ENN) & the University College London (UCL). The REFANI Research Coordinator will be responsible for the overall management of the REFANI consortium. Working closely with the Technical Director, Technical Advisory & Finance teams, the REFANI Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of the grant management & reporting, REFANI team management, donor relations, research & consortium coordination, research implementation & result communication strategy, & all related REFANI activities. The post is full-time, based in New York. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US if not a US citizen. This is a key role with significant hands-on responsibilities requiring the successful candidate to: •Oversee the design, implementation, management and monitoring of the REFANI project including direct involvement in project design, partner management, grant management, donor relations, reporting, & organizing events & project management •Supervise three part-time roles (Finance/Admin Officer, Communications Officer, & M&E Officer) •Manage communications & relations with REFANI partners & the donor, as well as the REFANI Technical Working Group & the REFANI Research Steering Committee •With the Finance team, develop & manage the sub-granting process with consortium partners •Establish & maintain a system of monitoring, recording & coordinating various REFANI activities •Work with selected ACF International staff to develop & implement country focused REFANI activities, sharing best practices, outcomes & resources. •Provide technical support to donor auditor teams & ACF-USA missions during external audits Further information and application details can be found here [url]http://www.actionagainsthunger.org/about/employment/job-opportunities[/url] Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they are eligible to work in the United States.
