Senior Humanitarian Nutrition Adviser (extended mat. cover) • Save the Children • Division: Global Programmes • Department: Humanitarian • Location: London • Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract • Salary: £40k plus benefits • Contact Duration: 16 months • Closing Date: 5 November 2013 The post holder will manage a growing team of Humanitarian Nutrition Advisors and Nutrition Emergency Response Personnel (ERPs) and over the longer term Merlin humanitarian nutrition portfolio as it transitions to Save the Children. The Humanitarian Nutrition team will play a central role in achieving our organisational frontline health, nutrition and child survival breakthroughs working closely with the wider hunger reduction team and Merlin colleagues. Job Purpose: To manage the development of humanitarian nutrition programming and capacity, ensuring the delivery of high quality, timely, accountable and appropriate humanitarian responses.
