UNICEF Pakistan is seeking a consultant for 15 days (in country) to review the National CMAM Guideline.
Background:
The National CMAM Guidelines were first developed in 2009 under the leadership of the Ministry of Health. Three years later, intensive experience in CMAM implementation has been gained. Reviews and evaluations contributed to the conceptual improvements. Based in this the CMAM task force, a sub-group of the national nutrition cluster will provide contributions and support the process. UNICEF will hire a consultant to lead the process of reviewing and re-drafting the Guidelines. This will be support of the CMAM technical Working Group, led by Merlin, and the National Nutrition Cluster.
Key Deliverables:
1. In partnership with the CMAM TWG, review the guideline, identify gaps and areas that require to update the 2009 CMAM Guideline
2. Revise the Guideline accordingly. Ensure that the update incorporates global best practices, global and updated standards and best practices as well as based on inputs and experience from implementation in Pakistan. Conduct stakeholder consultations as required to review the content of the updated guidelines. This includes stakeholder consultations within Pakistan, with the group of key stakeholders and consultation with global and regional technical advisors, including partners regional and HQs technical staff. in Pakistan and with regional specialists to review the content of the revised Guideline
3. Facilitate a dissemination meeting
