Costs: The cost of the course, including essential reference materials, and lunch is (3000.00 USD). This DOES NOT include dinner, accommodation, the cost of traveling to South Africa and incidentals. Given that International Baby Food Action Network (IBFAN) Africa has no scholarships available to participants, we recommend that those who are interested in attending this course should fundraise to cater for the Course fees, accommodation, meals, travel to South Africa, Visa and insurance, Yellow Fever Certificate and incidentals.
Who should Be Attending?
The course is designed for health professionals who are involved in national or local Infant Young Child Feeding programmes, qualified personnel in child and maternal health (midwives, paediatricians, nutritionists, Infant feeding counsellors), trainers and managers of healthcare components, programme coordinators or advocates for optimal infant feeding and IBFANer’s.
