The CMAM Forum (see www.cmamforum.org ) is seeking to recruit an additional facilitator to take the lead on its country liaison work. The key aims of this work are to:
• Synthesise learning of effective ways to disseminate CMAM-related resources through conducting case studies in selected countries;
• Evaluate the use of forum resources and identify improved ways of working for the CMAM Forum;
• Produce case studies and establish systems by which the use of forum resources can be monitored and evaluated.
Person specification:
• Experienced nutritionist / Public Health specialist with expertise and minimum 5 years relevant experience including recent field experience in the management of acute malnutrition.
• In-depth understanding of key issues affecting practitioners in the implementation and scale-up of the management of acute malnutrition through national health systems.
• Knowledge of key initiatives and resources relating to the management of acute malnutrition.
• Experience in training and mentoring.
• Experience in programme impact evaluation / monitoring and evaluation methodologies.
• Proven writing / reporting skills and excellent communication / representational skills.
• Fluent English essential and excellent working knowledge of French highly desirable.
