Dear Mark, Is it possible to increase the Grid index number so as to increase the number of variables that can be entered in ENA for SMART data entry Antropometry part?
With Regards,
Gezahegn S.
I do not think this is possible. There is a work-around see the Hybrid Epi Info/ENA Software link on this page and this page from the CDC.
I hope this of some use.

11 years agoDear Gezahegn, in ENA there is a button 'Add' where you can add additional variables to the table. In surveys there is often a problem that too much data is collected which can make the quality of the anthropometric data worse. Therefore Prof. Golden thought that it is better to restrict a bit the addition of variables. Otherwise it would have been possible to make this more convenient.

11 years agoMore variables can be added but ENA will only analyse the anthropometric variables. The rest of variables if collected along with anthropometric and entered into ENA, it will help in Data matching. For example, data on infectious diseases (ARI, Diarrhea, Measles) could be entered and then export the file to excel for further analysis.
Hope that answers your question.
